ses conference toronto
SES is a great conference, but as far as I understand (by looking at their past agendas, and this page), they are about everything but affiliate marketing. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
You are right. However, SEO and SEM are vital parts of any affiliate business so I would recommend attending it no matter the name. I did not have a chance to compare attendees for Affiliate Summit and SES but I am sure that there are many overlaps and great networking opportunities.
What is affiliate marketing, what does it cost to get into it, how does it work, can money really be made doing it??

Hi there – we’re launching a rev share affiliate program for our VOD site. Basically people can add movie and Tv content to their website and earn 50% of the ad revenue. What shows/venues would you recommend to attract publishers?

If you remove network-specific and industry-specific (e.g.: gambling) affiliate conferences from the above list, the aren’t that many generic conferences to choose from. In the U.S. I would recommend looking at Affiliate Summit (and either booking a “Meet Market” table or a booth, or both), in Europe and UK – a4uexpo. Let me know if you’re interested in any other specific countries/regions, and I’ll happily share my thoughts with you.
Additionally, consider industry- and niche-specific conferences where your prospective affiliates may be found (BlogWorld is a good example).
Don’t forget Ad Tech London and DMexCo in Cologne, 11-12th Sept and 16-17 sept respectively. I’m going to both of them.
