Over the past few years I have authored 3 books, more than 50 articles [see lists of my print and online articles here], gave a good number of conference speeches worldwide, recorded videos, and spent over 1,000 hours sharing the knowledge through this very blog. Furthermore, earlier this year I have founded (and am now chairing) an affiliate management professional forum and conference, Affiliate Management Days, the first of which was held in March 2012 in San Francisco, and I have already put together the agenda for the second conference, which is set to take place on October 9-10, 2012 in Fort Lauderdale.
Over the past decade I have launched and managed over 80 affiliate programs, helping online merchants achieve success through affiliates; and working hand-in-hand with affiliates (well over 90% of which are small businesses) to help them make money by marketing other people’s “stuff”.
Having said all of the above, whether I am a small business influencer or not is certainly not for me to decide… A number of esteemed affiliate marketing professionals have been nominated for Small Business Trends’ 2012 Small Business Influencer Awards. If you believe me to be one, I would highly appreciate you supporting me there.
Many thanks to all those who have already voted! Only 3 full days are left to cast your votes (one vote per IP per 24 hours is allowed) — and leave your comments for judges — and after that the results will go to the judges who will have their say, and 100 Champions will be announced in mid-August… Once again, thank you, everyone who has already supported me in this. There’s still time to cast more votes (and leave more comments) if you feel I deserve it.
