It’s been a while since I have had a contest that didn’t require you to do much but post an answer to a question/riddle… So, I’ve decided to put one together for you today.
Below you will find three photographs which have been taken within a 10 minute period. You want to guess the place where they were taken, and the time… The person whose answers end up being the closest to the reality will receive a free copy of my newest book, Affiliate Program Management: An Hour a Day… So, here are the pictures:
IMPORTANT: Every participant may post up to 2 guesses. The winner will be announced as soon as the correct info is posted, or by midday (EST) of July 1, 2011, whichever happens/comes sooner.
Happy guessing!!
Difficult for a european, but I assume Lake Ontario or Lake Erie
Early morning…6 am
First guess: Lake Ontario, 5:30ish
2nd: Lake Erie near Buffalo, 5ish
Good guesses. Thank you for them, but, unfortunately, both of them are pretty far from the right answer (both on the place, and on the time front).
Looking forward to having more people chime in!
I will chime in with a random one, what about somewhere along the Florida Keys (Key West mayb?), and you are more of a morning person, Geno – so I say 6.30am!
Good one, Bryan, but no, these are not the Keys (I wish!)
My guesses:
1. Shuchye Lake, Russia @ 6pm
2. Shuchye Lake, Russia @ noon
You’re obviously following my tweets, Jason. Thank you. Good try, but that wasn’t it.
Anyone else? The winner has to be chosen by midday tomorrow!
Well, I was going to enter, but since I already own your book, and you deleted the EXIF data from the JPGs, I’ll let someone else win 😉
You know better than anyone else that it’s not anywhere “near Buffalo”, right? 🙂
This will have to be a thumb suck: Northern Hemisphere – Day Time. Okay, okay maybe a bit broad so let’s narrow it down to: The Black Sea, between 14:00 and 15:00?
Not bad, but actually a bit farther from the truth than one of the guesses made by the previous contestant. 😉
Gulf coast near Komarovo 🙂 You are a fisherman, so I’d guess this is way too early for me to take pics 😉
