One of the conferences that I personally enjoy the most is Affiliate Summit. It is a U.S. affiliate marketing conference (the biggest of its kind) run twice a year: in Las Vegas each January, and in the New York City in August.
The upcoming one in New York — which will be held on August 21-23 — is one that I’m especially looking forward to, and, in part, because it’s gonna be keynoted by Bryan Eisenberg, a good friend and author of foreword to my newest book; but also because of an email I’ve received earlier today.
The text of that email message started as follows:
Hi Geno,
Congratulations and welcome aboard as a speaker for Affiliate Summit East 2011. We’re excited to have you on our elite speaker roster of industry experts.
Please read this entire email, as it contains important information to get you set for Affiliate Summit East 2011. The Affiliate Summit team is looking forward to your participation in the upcoming conference program.
I. SESSION DATE/TIME
Your session information is as follows…
Session Title: Key Affiliate Program Components You’re Probably Missing
Format: Solo presentation
The time and date will be firmed up shortly.
I know that session selection is a complex process which is based on your votes, Affiliate Summit’s advisory board‘s votes, as well as votes by Shawn Collins and Missy Ward. I appreciate everyone’s support. It means a lot to me.
It’s been a year and a half since I have last given a solo presentation at an Affiliate Summit, and I’m certainly excited about this opportunity. Expect some autographed books to be given away for good questions! See you in New York in August!!
My other speaking engagements this year look as follows:
- May 18-19, 2011 — Russian Internet Forum (St. Petersburg, Russia)
- June 7-8, 2011 — a4uexpo Europe (Munich, Germany)
- November 8-10, 2011 – PubCon (Las Vegas, Nevada, USA)
So, regardless of what continent you’re on, between St. Petersburg, Munich, New York City, and Las Vegas, you have no excuse of not meeting me. 🙂
