One of the digital marketing conferences that has an “affiliate track” is PubCon. It is being held twice a year: in Austin, TX in spring, and in Las Vegas, NV in autumn. I was invited to speak at the Las Vegas 2010 one, but regardless of how much I wanted to, I couldn’t make it due to a schedule conflict. However, I am happy to announce that I will be able to make it to PubCon Austin 2011 which will take place just about a month from now. The exact dates are March 8-9, 2011.
I see that my solo presentation proposal was turned into a panel, but all the more spectacular it will be (I hope) with four people sharing their thoughts instead of one:
If you want to learn about the most commonly overlooked (yet such crucial!) affiliate management elements which can help your affiliate program stand out among your competitors, come to the “Essentials Overlooked by 90% of Affiliate Managers” panel at 10 am. Each of the panelists will make their mini-presentation (some 15 minutes long) after which we’ll open the floor for questions. It should be good fun.

Hope to see you there!
Awesome, we’ll see you there! FMTC will have a booth. This is my first PubCon, so I’m excited!
See you soon then, Trisha. For me this will also be my first PubCon. Very much looking forward to it too.
