Earlier this morning at buy.at’s 7th annual Speakeasy event in Central London, UK, it was announced that buy.at has partnered with Coull to bring the world “the first fully-integrated video technology for the affiliate marketing industry” which allows affiliates to convert any video into an interactive ad with affiliates links embedded into/throughout it.
Amy Ely explains how it works:
- Affiliates either upload their own video file or enter the YouTube video URL
- Select a “base link” that displays a chosen product when a viewer clicks anywhere in the video
- Add new product links – as many as you like! – throughout the video
- Edit the product name labels that appear during the video, as well as their placement on the screen
Since it’s always better to see once than to hear a hunded times, here’s also a quick 2-minute video from Coull on how the tool works for affiliates:
Excellent tool, no question about it… Grats to buy.at on this new partnership!
We’re thrilled to be working with Irfon and the Coull team to release this powerful interactive video advertising tool to our affiliate base.
If you have any questions, feel free to send them my way!

Thanks for chiming in, Amy. This is a truly great little tool affiliates can now use. Grats again on the nice partnership!
This is pretty amazing.
Wait until our video editor sees this.
He’s going to go nuts 😉
And yes, they were *very* impressed.
What is the ETA on this, Amy?
Hi Ron,
It’s ready to go now actually 🙂
In the Management Area, click on “Make Links” and then “Coull Video.” The “Your Videos” tab is where you begin setup.
Let me know if you need anything else! I’m also available at amy.ely[at]buy.at

Or you can use http://www.linkto.tv – It allows more control on the interactive points – really impressive what they’ve done for a Jaeger Catwalk.
Ric, thank you for mentioning LinkTo.TV. I haven’t heard of them before.
I love the idea of making the hotspots-creating tool available to everyone, but that “£49.99 + VAT” price per video just bites. Don’t you think?
