This year’s East Coast Affiliate Summit is coming up, and this time it’s going to be held in the Big Apple between 9 and 11 August. You may read more about the show at its official website.
As I have announced earlier, I will be speaking at this conference. My session is a part of the “Ask the Experts” session on Monday (August 10) at 5:00 pm. The setting is going to be quite informal (round table), and it’s going to be devoted to the methods of affiliate motivation. Important: this session is open to all pass holders, and I am very much looking forward to seeing you at my table! The full Affiliate Summit East 2009 agenda may be found here.
Besides the above-quoted session, I would love to meet with you during the Summit’s traditional Affiliate Meet Market which is going to take place during Day 1 (August 9) of the conference from 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm. You may find me at Table #67. The first 10 people to come to the table and say the passphrase “It’s all about looking at things through consumers’ eyes” will get an autographed copy my Online Shopping Through Consumers’ Eyes book. In addition to the books there will also be hundreds of giveaway items from DaySpring (as well as a special coupon code to help you promote this merchant) for you to pick up.
Looking forward to seeing you in New York!!
Hi Geno,
I have a “Silver Pass” so I hope to meet you 🙂
Looking forward to meeting you Geno.
Same here, Rhianna, and Logan. Looking forward to meeting you, both.
Geno, I am looking forward for a meeting as well.
Thank you, Vlad, and see you soon.
So, what is your main goal for the summit this time? Looking forward to seeing you soon!
Good question, Ayako. I have 5 very specific goals: (i) represent DaySpring.com during the Meet Market on Day 1, (ii) speak on how to motivate affiliates on Day 2, (iii) meet several of my existing (and prospective) clients face to face, (iv) see you and other affiliate marketers (many for the first time in person), and (v) have fun in NYC with my little Princess and her lovely mother (aka my beautiful wife). 😉
What about yourself?
Geno, take your Little Princess to The Carousel in Central Park http://www.centralpark.com/pages/attractions/carousel.html
She’ll love it.
I don’t know how long you are staying in NYC. If you want to bring your daughter to an amusement park, I recommend Rye Playland – some of the rides have a view of the water.

I have some other suggestions for fun with your daughter:
Great places to take children in New York City

FAO Schwarz Famous Toy Store

I know your daughter likes dolls. She might enjoy The American Girl Place New York

The Little Mermaid is playing on Broadway; she’d probably love the show

I hope the links give you some ideas for entertainment
Rhianna, thank you SO VERY MUCH for these suggestions!! They came in just in time (as I am planning things for my wife and daughter to do while I’ll be at the conference, and trying to figure out what we can do together too). Thank you!!
Alright!! I’ve just purchased our tickets for “The Little Mermaid” show at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. This is going to be the first ever Broadway show for my whole family to attend. Thanks again for this awesome suggestion, Rhianna!
I’m so happy you got tickets for the show.
I’ve heard good things about the show and I think it will be a good introductory Broadway Show for your daughter. I was exceptionally lucky throughout my youth because my Grandmother and other relatives took me to many Broadway shows.
Yep, we’re all excited too. It turned out a bit pricey, but I’m sure it’ll be worth every penny. We’re going on Saturday night (August 8).
BTW, did you see Rehan’s tweet about the costume maker for this show? She is Russian, and studied in St. Petersburg. How cool is that! Coincidence or destiny? 🙂
I looked at the show’s videos and it looks like it will be a great show: lots of singing and dancing, great costumes, and it’s based on an interesting story. It’s cool that the costume designer studied in St. Petersburg! Looks like I recommended a good show for your family to see 🙂
