Several days ago a merchant has contacted me with a good question. They have decided to build an in-house affiliate program, but they do not want to mess with payments, and would much rather outsource the payment part to a third party. So, if they manage their program in-house, track things with a self-hosted software, but do not want to cut checks, who could they turn to?
There are several solutions out there. I’ll be honest, I have not worked with any one of these. So, the order in which they are listed below in merely alphabetical:
- Affiliate Speedpay
- AnyPay
- Chexx Inc
- EntroPay
- ePassporte
- Payoneer
- PayPal Mass Pay
- RevUpCard
- Webmaster Checks
Whether you decide to handle the payments part in-house, or outsource it to a third party, make sure you are prompt and accurate. It is a touchy area that must be handled properly and orderly at all times.
Thanks for the blog mention Geno. Webmasterchecks sends out checks, wires, ACH direct deposits, and works with other mentioned companies such as epassporte and revupcard to help affiliate systems and networks get their payments to their affiliates.
Edmond Dantes is quite a name to have. 🙂
Thank you for your comment. How exactly do your partnerships with the other companies work?
Payoneer works with several networks I know, I use them with Mediawhiz and I’ve read they have something going on with Buy.at
very good solution for international users.
Hi Everyone,
Thanks for including us in your list Geno.
Payoneer allows organizations to pay large numbers of people around the world, efficiently and securely directly to their Prepaid MasterCard® cards, avoiding the delays and heavy surcharges of more traditional methods such as bank transfers and international check.
Here’s a short demo about our services http://www.payoneer.com/demo/demo.html
If you have any questions about our services you can contact feedback at payoneer.com
Also Paul- you are correct we are launching with buy.at today!
All the best,
Aryeh
Geno, sorry I did not catch your comment until just yesterday. Hope you have been well. I remember reading somebody recommending one of your suggestions of having an email address available as well, or instead of an email form, and took it 😉
We work with affiliate networks/programs to get their payments sent out, checks, wires, ACH direct deposit, the works…
Glad to be of help, E.
Just added another option to the above list — EntroPay. Met their CEO (Alex Misfud) at the Affiliate Summit East 2009 in NYC two weeks ago. It’s one of the newer solutions on the market. Worth checking out.
Do you know of any affiliate software solutions that have good payment tools built into them? Or have any of these already integrated? I wrote a post on choosing software, and some asked if I could recommend a payment solution, and I was stumped: http://www.revenews.com/ctmoore/choosing-affiliate-software/comment-page-1/#comments
CT Moore,
PostAffiliatePro allows you to set up recurring PayPal payments. In addition to that, some of the above-mentioned outsourced solutions may be able to work with you on something similar. It’s worth checking with them.
The online payment solutions industry has experienced intense growth in recent years and has become a highly competitive market. The main problem is finding the right solution for you. PayVision.com is another company that offers payment solutions worldwide. They have a set of credit/debit cards that are in cooperation with several major European, American and Asian banks. PayVision’s payment services accept more than 150 currencies and also offer competitive rates to customers!
Marie, thank you for your comment. Are you with PayVision? If so, I’d really appreciate you letting me know if this is a suitable option for outsourcing affiliate payments (for in-house affiliate programs, or affiliate networks that want to do it). I couldn’t find any such information on PayVision’s website. So, I would appreciate you clarifying this part. If PV is indeed suitable for this, I will happily include it in my above list.
Looking forward to your reply.
