Yesterday afternoon a really cool news landed in my email inbox from China: Wiley has signed a contract with a Beijing-based publisher for the translation and publication of my Affiliate Program Management: An Hour a Day book!
About half a year ago I keynoted a conference in China, and was really impressed with the depth of knowledge and interest in affiliate marketing there (China’s capital city left me under a number of impressions too, by the way).
China’s population is currently around 1.4 Billion people, and while much of the Internet is being restricted by the so-called Great Firewall of China, the Internet penetration is pretty striking there. Earlier this year eMarketer has tacked the question showing the following chart:
Per this article “China’s Internet user base is …1.76x that of the United States”; and, as is apparent from the above chart, by the time the Chinese version of my book comes out, there will be over 620 million Internet users in China.
Needless to say that I’m excited, and very much looking forward to seeing my book in Chinese.
Congrats Geno! Looking forward to your next book.
