Earlier this morning I have returned back to Virginia after a 3-day trip to California — to the 5th annual ShareASale ThinkTank, the affiliate network’s private conference that has no equal at this time. And its uniqueness is not in the fact that it is a by-invitation-only event. It is unparalleled in many ways, but most importantly in the fact that the company’s CEO, Brian Littleton, and his amazing staff, are there and fully open/available to discuss any questions, issues, or concerns merchants, affiliates and OPMs in attendance my have.
Here’s a brief recap of the ThinkTank 2010 in photos that I’ve taken:
Hotel was situated in a picturesque location in Half Moon Bay (CA), on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean
Brian Littleton opening the “Emerging Trends: Technology & Business” session
“Affiliate Recruitment Strategies” session/panel
Some of the most positive people I know in the industry (Sarah Bundy and Michael Coley)
Not just some meal consumption, but great networking time with truly great food to enjoy
Sunset over fog and Santa Cruz Mountains (while on the way to Wine/OPM Tasting event)
Thomas Fogarty Winery all ready to welcome affiliate marketers
At the wine tasting (from left to right: Kate & Joe Sousa, myself, Kim Rowley)
On the last day of event attendees who have attended all 5 ShareASale’s ThinTanks received a plate autographed by the ShareASale’s team
Brian Littleton handing the autographed plate to Billy Kay
As always, great event! Thanks to the whole ShareASale team for pulling this treat together!
Many more pictures from the event will be uploaded to AM Navigator’s Facebook page here shortly. So, do check back there soon, and feel free to tag any people you may recognize.
Great pictures, Geno – I never managed to get out for photos around the hotel when it wasn’t foggy.
Nice to see you out there.
Thanks, Shawn. I took the first one on the very last day (when there was no fog).
Good to see you there too.
I’ve only been to one TT, in 2008. However, I have no doubt that this one was first class and worthwhile. Brian and his team embody all that’s right in an advertising/technology partner.
Congrats Brian on the 5th Anniversary, and congrats to everyone in attendance, be it for the first time or the fifth time.
I sure remember that ThinkTank 2008 in Scottsdale, AZ (flew to it all the way from St. Petersburg, Russia then). And yep, Brian and the whole ShareASale team surely deserve the words you’ve posted, Kevin.
Nice recap. Sounds awesome. Looks like you were having a great time. 🙂
